BROOKLYN, NY -- On November 23rd and 24th, 2011, Masbia was overwhelmed with an overflow of goodwill and community spirit. Over 300 volunteers showed up to help with all the work that goes into preparing over 500 Thanksgiving meals and several hundred take-home packages to be distributed the next day. From peeling sweet potatoes and coring apples to cleaning chicken wings and scrubbing pots and pans, our volunteers made this Thanksgiving possible for the hundreds of people in need that come through Masbia`s doors.
