Earlier this week, I got a surprise notification that the dozen truckloads of food we get at each site every week from the Government will not be coming.

Boro Park, Brooklyn -- Wednesday morning, March 6, Masbia's ED Alexander Rapaport wrote an e-mail to Barry, one of the warehouse managers at Kayco, the distributor for Kedem, Gefen, Glick's, and others, explaining that the inventory at Masbia of Boro Park is very low, and asking if they can help share some food. By the end of the day, there was a delivery of 12 pallets of food in front of Masbia of Boro Park, with more to come next week. 

The other night I received anonymous photos of someone cooking chicken wings. The photos actually made me feel very good. As you have been reading in previous emails, cash flow at our organization has seen better days. And the credit with our vendors is overextended. Two weeks ago, we actually did not distribute any chicken during the raw food distributions.
